what others are saying…

This is the perfect scoop. Perfect size and feel in my hand, give me just as much grounds as I need to make a nice robust pot. And, it scoops out the perfect amount of grits, quinoa and yes, even M&Ms! I love this scoop. So glad I added it to my growing collection of Earlywood tools!

Back by popular demand...and here to stay!

The Earlywood coffee scoop holds about 3 tablespoons of whatever you want to put in it. They are perfect for scooping grounds or whole beans for your morning cup, but don't let that make you think they can't do more! Try one in a gravy bowl this Thanksgiving or leave one in your granola, rice or oatmeal and always have the right tool for the job when you need it.

If you do use it for coffee, don't bother washing it. Leave it in your ground coffee and it will pick up a rich coffee-oil patina over years of use.

 size: 6.5 x 2.4 x 1.5

Here is the coffee slash dry goods scoops. It's just for that. I use mine mainly for coffee and I think that most people do use theirs for coffee. It's short enough that a lot of people will serve their ground coffee and leave it in their grounds. Coffee has a natural oil in it and those natural oils will soak into the wood and you'll never have to oil this. It also suits itself well to scooping out dry goods, granola, rice, things like that... chia seeds as we do at our house. You fill it and cut it flat, it holds three tablespoons.
